This Programme is designed for active older adults who are looking for a moderate intensity of dance that enables them to re-create their pleasure of dancing with exercise to which they were accustomed in their younger days. Su will focus of choreography that focuses on balance, on a stylistic range of motion, social integration, coordination and sheer rhythmic pleasure. There are many groups in the Capital that focus on Parkinson’s Disease in a therapeutic way, so don’t be over-awed if you are not as fit s you used to be. Su will keep an experienced watch on you.
With calorie and fat-burning as its focus, the ‘Step By Step’ classes provide a large calorie through aerobic activity achieved with interval training in mind , … Full body workout; this is both a fitness class and a dance class. Aside from cardiac-vascular benefits, Su will provide a workout for the whole body and it is also designed to be a team building social activity providing lots of enjoyment and fun. The programme is ideal for beginners without any experience of either dance or physical activity and participants will not be in competition with anyone. Each person goes at his/her own pace and you will enjoy the activities whilst the time represents beneficial exercise.
